1 egg (for coating)
-
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for coating)
-
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
-
Cooking spray or a little oil
Instructions:
-
Prepare the filling:
-
In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes with garlic powder, pepper, salt, and herbs.

Scoop a tablespoon of potato mix, flatten it slightly, add a small cube or pinch of shredded cheese in the center, and roll it into a ball.
-
-
Coat the balls:
-
Roll each ball in flour, then dip in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs. Press lightly so crumbs stick well.

Spray the basket with oil or line with parchment with holes.

Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking or turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
-
✅ Tips:
-
Freeze before air frying for 15 minutes to help them hold shape.
-
Add chopped jalapeños or bacon bits to the potato mix for extra flavor.
-
Serve with ranch, spicy mayo, or marinara for dipping.
