Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Sticks are a fun and delicious way to enjoy pizza in a handheld form! Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or game day treat. Here’s an easy recipe to make these cheesy, pepperoni-filled delights:

Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Sticks

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package of pepperoni slices (about 30-40 slices)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for added spice)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the dough:
    If using store-bought dough, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 10×12 inches in size. If using homemade dough, follow your dough recipe’s instructions.
  3. Layer the ingredients:
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch of space around the edges.
    • Add a layer of pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
    • Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and dried oregano (if using) evenly over the pepperoni. If you like a little heat, you can sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes on top as well.
  4. Roll up the dough:
    Carefully roll the dough from the longer side into a tight log or cylinder, just like you would for cinnamon rolls or a jelly roll.
  5. Cut into sticks:
    Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the rolled dough into about 1-inch wide pieces.
  6. Bake the pizza sticks:
    Place the pizza sticks on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they’re spaced slightly apart. Brush the tops of each pizza stick with olive oil for a golden, crispy finish.

    Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pizza sticks are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling and melted.

  7. Serve with pizza sauce:
    Once baked, remove the pizza sticks from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Serve with a side of warm pizza sauce for dipping.
