🧀 Cheesy Mushroom Beef
Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) ground beef

2 cups mushrooms, sliced (white or cremini work well)

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional but adds depth)

1/2 cup beef broth or water

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, provolone, or a mix)

1 tbsp flour or cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions:

Cook the beef:

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through.

Drain excess grease and set the beef aside.

Sauté the veggies:

In the same skillet, add olive oil or butter.

Sauté the diced onions and mushrooms until softened and lightly browned (about 5–7 minutes).

Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

Combine and simmer:

Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the mushroom mixture.

Stir in Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, salt, and pepper.

(Optional) Sprinkle flour or mix in a slurry of cornstarch and water to slightly thicken the sauce.

Simmer for 3–5 minutes until well combined and warmed through.
