Here’s a delicious and easy Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps recipe that combines tender, flavorful chicken with a cheesy, garlicky sauce—all wrapped up in a soft tortilla. These wraps are perfect for lunch, dinner, or a snack!

Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts (or 3-4 thighs, boneless and skinless)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas (or any wrap of your choice)
  • Fresh spinach or lettuce leaves (optional, for added crunch)
  • Sliced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the Chicken:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season both sides of the chicken breasts (or thighs) with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C). Once done, remove from the skillet and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly into strips.

2. Prepare the Cheesy Garlic Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed, and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until everything is melted and combined into a creamy sauce. You can add a splash of milk or chicken broth to thin out the sauce if needed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Assemble the Wraps:

  • Warm the flour tortillas in the skillet for about 20 seconds on each side, or until soft and pliable.
  • Place a few slices of the cooked chicken in the center of each tortilla.
  • Spoon a generous amount of the cheesy garlic sauce over the chicken.
  • Add fresh spinach or lettuce, and sliced tomatoes if desired.

4. Roll and Serve:

  • Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
  • Slice in half if desired and garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.

5. Optional – Crisp the Wrap:

  • For an extra crispy texture, you can place the wrapped tortillas back in the skillet, seam side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.

Tips:

  • Substitute proteins: Feel free to use shredded rotisserie chicken, grilled chicken thighs, or even ground chicken in place of the sliced breast meat.
  • Add vegetables: You can add other veggies like sautéed bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms to the wrap for more flavor and texture.
  • Make it spicy: For a little kick, sprinkle some red pepper flakes or add sliced jalapeños to the wraps.
