Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or a cheese blend of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup mixed greens or spinach (optional, for extra freshness)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for grilling)

Instructions:

1. Cook the Chicken:
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken strips with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
2. Make the Garlic Sauce:
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and minced garlic. Mix well until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Set aside.
3. Assemble the Wraps:
  • Lay the flour tortillas on a flat surface.
  • Spread a generous amount of the garlic cheese sauce on each tortilla.
  • Evenly distribute the cooked chicken strips onto each tortilla.
  • Top the chicken with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese and any desired greens (like spinach or mixed greens).
4. Grill the Wraps:
  • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.
  • Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
  • Place the wraps seam-side down on the skillet and grill for 2-3 minutes per side, until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
5. Serve:
  • Remove the wraps from the skillet and slice them in half diagonally.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
