Here’s a crowd-pleasing recipe for Cheesy Garlic Bread Rolls — soft, buttery rolls filled with melty cheese and garlicky goodness. They’re perfect as a side for pasta night, soups, or just as an indulgent snack!


🧄🧀 Cheesy Garlic Bread Rolls

🧾 Ingredients

For the rolls:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands) or 1 lb pizza dough

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar (optional, for flavor)

For the garlic butter:

  • ¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for a kick


👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a muffin tin or 9×13″ baking dish.

  2. Prepare the dough:

    • If using biscuit dough, split each biscuit in half horizontally to make thinner layers.

    • If using pizza dough, divide into 12 small pieces and flatten each into a circle.

  3. Stuff the rolls:

    • Place a tablespoon or so of cheese into the center of each dough round.

    • Fold up the edges and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.

  4. Make garlic butter:

    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, and Parmesan.

  5. Assemble:

    • Place rolls seam-side down in the muffin tin or baking dish.

    • Brush generously with garlic butter.

  6. Bake:

    • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.

    • Brush with any remaining garlic butter once out of the oven.

  7. Serve warm with marinara, ranch, or on their own!


💡 Tips & Variations

  • Add-ins: Pepperoni slices, crumbled bacon, or jalapeños can go inside with the cheese.

  • Make-ahead: Assemble and refrigerate for a few hours before baking.

  • From scratch: Use homemade dough for a more artisanal result.
