🧀 Cheddar Cheese Bread (Quick & Easy Version)

🧾 Ingredients:

2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp garlic powder or onion powder (optional, for flavor)

2 large eggs

1 cup (240 ml) milk

¼ cup (60 ml) vegetable oil or melted butter

1½ cups (150 g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 tbsp chopped chives or green onions (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a standard 9×5 inch (23×13 cm) loaf pan or line with parchment paper. -
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl:
Flour, baking powder, salt, and optional seasonings. -
In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and oil (or melted butter).

Add wet to dry: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir just until combined (don’t overmix).

Fold in the cheese and optional herbs. The batter will be thick.

Pour into loaf pan, spread evenly.
Optionally, sprinkle a little extra cheese on top for a cheesy crust. -
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden.

Cool 10–15 minutes before slicing.
