Butter Cake.

Here’s a classic, tender, and buttery Butter Cake recipe — simple but absolutely delicious!

🍰 Classic Butter Cake
📝 Ingredients (8-inch round cake pan)

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar

4 large eggs, room temperature

2 ¾ cups (345g) all-purpose flour

2 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 cup (240ml) whole milk, room temperature

2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch cake pan.

Cream butter and sugar:
In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar together with an electric mixer until light and fluffy (about 3–5 minutes).

Add eggs:
Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Combine dry ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Alternate adding dry and wet:
Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three additions, alternating with milk (start and end with dry). Mix gently until just combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
