Berries & Banana Smoothie

Here’s a simple, refreshing, and nutritious Berries & Banana Smoothie – perfect for breakfast, a post-workout boost, or a light snack!


🍓🍌 Berries & Banana Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen — strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

  • 1 cup milk (or almond, oat, or coconut milk)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • A few ice cubes (if using fresh berries)

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (for fiber and omega-3s)

  • 1 scoop protein powder (for a protein boost)

  • A handful of spinach (for extra nutrients — doesn’t affect flavor much)

  • ¼ avocado (for creaminess)


🥤 Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients:

    • Add banana, berries, yogurt, milk, and any optional ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend:

    • Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Add a splash more milk if it’s too thick.

  3. Taste & Adjust:

    • Taste and add honey/maple syrup if more sweetness is desired.

  4. Serve:

    • Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.


💡 Tips:

  • Frozen bananas add creaminess and make it extra cold without ice.

  • If using only frozen fruit, reduce or skip the ice cubes.

  • Want a smoothie bowl? Use less liquid and top with granola, seeds, and fruit.
