Banana Pudding Cheesecake

Banana Pudding Cheesecake sounds absolutely delicious! It’s the perfect combo of two amazing desserts—banana pudding and cheesecake. Here’s a simple recipe you can try to make this creamy, banana-flavored delight:

Banana Pudding Cheesecake Recipe

Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups Nilla wafer crumbs (about 30 cookies)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling:

  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 package instant banana pudding mix (3.4 oz)

Banana Pudding Topping:

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream (or Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 cup Nilla wafer crumbs
  • Optional: extra banana slices for decoration

Instructions:

  1. Make the Crust:

    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
    • In a medium bowl, mix the Nilla wafer crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form a firm crust. Bake for about 10 minutes, then let it cool while you prepare the cheesecake filling.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:

    • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
    • Add in the vanilla extract, then mix in the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    • Add the sour cream, heavy cream, and banana pudding mix. Beat until smooth and well combined.
  3. Bake the Cheesecake:

    • Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
    • Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until the center is almost set but still slightly jiggly. (It will continue to set as it cools.)
    • Turn off the oven, crack the oven door, and let the cheesecake cool for about 1 hour. Then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  4. Prepare the Topping:

    • Once the cheesecake is completely chilled, arrange the banana slices on top.
    • Spread a layer of whipped cream (or Cool Whip) over the bananas.
    • Sprinkle Nilla wafer crumbs over the whipped cream for a crunchy topping.
  5. Serve:

    • Slice and serve chilled. You can even add a few extra banana slices on top for decoration.
