Here’s a classic Banana Pudding recipe — creamy, comforting, and perfect for any occasion:

🍌 Classic Banana Pudding Recipe

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 ½ cups cold water

  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 1 box (about 11 oz) vanilla wafer cookies (like Nilla Wafers)

  • 4-5 ripe bananas, sliced

  • Optional: Crushed cookies or whipped cream for topping

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Make the pudding base:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and cold water until smooth.

    • Add the pudding mix and whisk for about 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set.

  2. Whip the cream:

    • In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.

    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the chilled pudding mixture until combined and creamy.

  3. Assemble the layers:

    • In a 9×13-inch dish (or a trifle bowl), layer:

      • Vanilla wafers

      • Sliced bananas

      • Pudding mixture

    • Repeat the layers until the dish is full, ending with pudding on top.

  4. Chill:

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (best overnight) to allow the flavors to meld and the cookies to soften.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with extra whipped cream or crushed cookies if desired.

    • Serve cold and enjoy!
