Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)


Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken Cutlets:

  • If your chicken breasts are thick, slice them in half horizontally to make them thinner and more even in thickness. Alternatively, you can use a meat mallet to gently pound them to about 1/2 inch thickness.

  • Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with a pinch of salt and pepper.

2. Prepare the Breading:

  • In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil (if using), salt, and pepper. This will form your crispy coating.
