Baked cauliflower is better than meat

That’s a bold take — and one a lot of people are coming around to!

Baked cauliflower can definitely hold its own:

  • Texture: When roasted properly, it gets that crispy outside and tender inside that’s super satisfying.

  • Flavor: It soaks up spices, sauces, and marinades like a champ — think buffalo cauliflower, curry-roasted, or garlic-Parmesan style.

  • Health: Lower in fat and calories, plus it’s packed with fiber and antioxidants.

  • Sustainability: Way easier on the environment than most meats.

That said, it’s a different experience. For people who crave the richness, chew, or umami of meat, cauliflower might not fully replace it — but it can be a seriously delicious and nutritious alternative, especially when prepared creatively.
