Air Fryer Twisted Bacon

Here’s a quick and super fun snack or brunch treat: Air Fryer Twisted Bacon — crispy, chewy, and irresistibly good. It’s also perfect for serving at parties or stacking on top of burgers and sandwiches!


🥓 Air Fryer Twisted Bacon Recipe

✅ Ingredients:

  • 8–12 slices of bacon (regular or thick-cut)

  • Optional:

    • Fresh cracked black pepper

    • Brown sugar or maple syrup (for a sweet twist)

    • Chili flakes or smoked paprika (for heat)


🔄 Instructions:

  1. Twist the Bacon:

    • Take each slice and twist it tightly from end to end like a rope.

    • The tighter you twist, the chewier the bacon; looser twists cook up crispier.

  2. Prep the Air Fryer:

    • No need to preheat, but you can line the basket with parchment (with holes) or foil with holes for easy cleanup.

    • Place the twisted bacon in a single layer — leave space between pieces.

  3. Air Fry:

    • Set temperature to 350°F (175°C).

    • Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

    • For thick-cut bacon, add 2–3 more minutes if needed.

  4. Drain & Cool:

    • Place finished bacon on a paper towel–lined plate to drain excess grease.

    • It will crisp more as it cools.


✨ Tips & Variations:

  • For candied bacon: Brush twists with maple syrup or sprinkle brown sugar before air frying.

  • Like it extra crispy? Go a bit longer (but watch closely in the last 2 minutes).

  • Store extras in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
