Air Fryer Shrimp

Here’s a simple and delicious Air Fryer Shrimp recipe that’s quick to make and full of flavor:


🦐 Air Fryer Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Optional: 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (for heat)

  • Optional: lemon wedges & chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prep Shrimp:

    • Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.

    • Place in a bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne (if using).

  2. Preheat Air Fryer:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.

  3. Air Fry:

    • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.

    • Cook for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until shrimp are pink and opaque.

  4. Serve:

    • Garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.

    • Serve as a main dish, over salad, in tacos, or with pasta.


📝 Tips:

  • Use frozen shrimp? Thaw them first and pat dry.

  • For extra crispiness, lightly coat the shrimp in panko breadcrumbs after tossing in seasoning and oil.

  • Don’t overcook – shrimp cook very quickly and can become rubbery.
