Here’s a simple yet mouthwatering recipe for a Juicy Air Fryer Ribeye Steak — perfect for when you want steakhouse results without firing up the grill or stove.


🥩 Air Fryer Ribeye Steak

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 ribeye steak (1–1½ inches thick)

  • 1–2 tsp olive oil

  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper (generous amount)

  • Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika, fresh or dried rosemary/thyme

🔄 Optional Compound Butter (for topping):

  • 2 tbsp softened butter

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Chopped fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, or chives)

  • Pinch of salt


🔪 Instructions:

1. Bring to Room Temp

Let your ribeye sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes. This ensures even cooking.

2. Preheat Air Fryer

Set to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.

3. Season the Steak

  • Pat steak dry with paper towels.

  • Rub with olive oil.

  • Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides (plus any optional spices or herbs).

4. Air Fry the Steak

  • Place steak in the air fryer basket.

  • Cook for 8–12 minutes total, flipping halfway through:

    • Rare: 120–125°F (about 6–8 min)

    • Medium-Rare: 130–135°F (8–10 min)

    • Medium: 140–145°F (10–12 min)

    • Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.

5. Rest the Steak

  • Remove and rest for 5–10 minutes, tented loosely with foil. This keeps the juices in.

6. Top with Compound Butter (optional)

  • While resting, place a pat of the garlic-herb butter on top for extra richness.


🍽️ Serve With:

  • Air fryer potatoes, asparagus, or a fresh side salad.

  • Try it with chimichurri, blue cheese sauce, or classic steak sauce.


💡 Tips:

  • Use a meat thermometer to nail your preferred doneness.

  • Avoid overcrowding: cook one steak at a time for best airflow and browning.
