Air Fryer Potato Slices

Posted on May 2, 2025
Here’s a quick and crispy recipe for Air Fryer Potato Slices — golden on the outside, tender inside, and easy to customize with your favorite seasonings. Perfect as a snack, side dish, or appetizer!

🥔🔥 Air Fryer Potato Slices

🔹 Ingredients:

  • 2–3 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet work great)

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika or smoked paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, or chili flakes for topping

🔪 Instructions:

1. Prep the Potatoes:

  • Wash and thinly slice the potatoes (about ⅛ to ¼ inch thick) using a knife or mandoline.

  • Pat slices dry with paper towels — this helps them crisp up.

2. Season:

  • In a bowl, toss potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • For cheesy flavor, add a tablespoon of Parmesan before or after air frying.

3. Air Fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  • Arrange potato slices in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches).

  • Air fry for 10–14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Watch closely near the end to prevent burning — thinner slices cook faster.

4. Serve:

  • Sprinkle with extra salt or toppings of choice (like fresh herbs, Parmesan, or dipping sauces).

  • Enjoy hot and crispy!

🧊 Tips:

  • For extra crisp, soak raw slices in cold water for 20 minutes, then dry well before cooking.

  • Try with sweet potatoes for a slightly different flavor!
