Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs

Posted on June 9, 2025
Here’s how to make Air Fryer Hard-Boiled Eggs—a super simple, no-water method that yields perfectly cooked eggs with easy-to-peel shells. Great for meal prep, salads, or snacks!

🥚 Air Fryer Hard-Boiled Eggs

Servings: As many as your air fryer can fit
Prep Time: 1 min
Cook Time: 14–17 mins
Total Time: ~20 mins

🔧 Ingredients:

  • Large eggs (as many as desired, in a single layer)

🧑‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 270°F–275°F (135°C), if your model requires preheating.

  2. Place eggs in the basket in a single layer. No oil or foil needed.

  3. Air fry at 270°F for:

    • 14 minutes for soft-boiled

    • 15–16 minutes for medium

    • 17 minutes for fully hard-boiled

  4. Immediately transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water. Let sit for 5–10 minutes to stop cooking and make peeling easier.

  5. Peel and enjoy, or store in the fridge for up to 7 days.

💡 Tips:

  • Older eggs peel easier than fresh ones.

  • Avoid overcrowding—leave space for air circulation.

  • Shell cracks? Some may get minor cracks during cooking, but the eggs are usually still perfect inside.
