Here’s a fun and easy recipe for Air Fryer French Toast Sticks — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect for breakfast, brunch, or snacking. Great for kids and adults!

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 4 slices thick bread (Texas toast, brioche, challah, or day-old white bread)

  • 2 eggs

  • ¼ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Butter or oil spray (for greasing)

Optional Topping:

  • 2 tbsp sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)

  • Maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit for serving


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Cut the Bread:

  • Slice each bread slice into 3–4 strips.

2. Make the Custard:

  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar (if using), and salt.

3. Dip the Sticks:

  • Dip each bread strip into the egg mixture, coating all sides. Don’t soak too long—just enough to absorb.

4. Preheat & Grease Air Fryer:

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.

  • Lightly spray the basket with oil or brush with butter.

5. Cook:

  • Place sticks in a single layer in the basket (cook in batches if needed).

  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

6. Optional Coating:

  • While still warm, toss sticks in a cinnamon-sugar mixture if desired.

7. Serve Warm:

  • Serve with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or berries.


✅ Tips:

  • For extra indulgence: Add a drizzle of cream cheese glaze or Nutella.

  • To freeze: Cook, cool, and freeze in a zip-top bag. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 4–5 minutes.
