Air fryer crispy chilli beef

Yes!  Air Fryer Crispy Chilli Beef is the perfect combo of sweet, spicy, crispy, and healthier than deep-fried versions. You still get that golden crunch without all the oil — and it’s super fast too.


 AIR FRYER CRISPY CHILLI BEEF

 Ingredients:

For the beef:

  • 400g (about 14 oz) sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced into strips

  • 1–2 tbsp cornstarch (for coating)

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp oil (helps crisp it in the air fryer)

  • Pinch of salt & pepper

For the chilli sauce:

  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or white vinegar

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tsp honey or brown sugar

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp grated ginger (optional but amazing)

  • 1 small red chilli, sliced (or use chilli flakes)

To finish:

  • Sliced spring onions, sesame seeds, and red chilli for garnish


 Instructions:

1. Prep the beef:

  • Pat beef strips dry with paper towel.

  • Toss in soy sauce, then coat lightly with cornstarch, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of oil.

2. Air fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 200°C / 400°F.

  • Lay the beef strips in a single layer (work in batches if needed).

  • Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden, crispy, and sizzling.

3. Make the sauce:

  • In a small pan, combine all sauce ingredients.

  • Simmer over low heat for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

4. Toss & serve:

  • Toss crispy beef in the sauce right before serving to keep it crunchy.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds, spring onions, and extra chilli if you like it hot!
