Here’s a quick and easy recipe for Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas—juicy, seasoned chicken with tender-crisp peppers and onions, all cooked in under 20 minutes!


🌮 Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (or thighs), sliced into thin strips

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 small red onion, sliced

  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil

  • Juice of ½ lime (optional)

  • Fajita Seasoning:

    • 1 tsp chili powder

    • 1 tsp smoked paprika

    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    • 1 tsp onion powder

    • ½ tsp cumin

    • ½ tsp salt

    • ¼ tsp black pepper

    • Pinch of cayenne (optional for heat)

Instructions:

  1. Prep Ingredients:

    • Slice chicken, peppers, and onions into similar-sized strips for even cooking.

  2. Season:

    • In a large bowl, toss chicken and veggies with olive oil, lime juice, and all fajita seasonings until evenly coated.

  3. Air Fry:

    • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

    • Add everything to the basket in a single layer (cook in two batches if needed).

    • Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F) and veggies are slightly charred.

  4. Serve:

    • Serve in warm tortillas with toppings like:

      • Sour cream

      • Guacamole

      • Salsa

      • Shredded cheese

      • Fresh cilantro

      • Lime wedges
