Here’s a crispy, juicy Air Fryer Breaded Chicken Wings recipe that’s easy and full of flavor — perfect for game day, parties, or just a crave-worthy snack!

🍗 Air Fryer Breaded Chicken Wings

🕒 Total Time: 35–40 minutes

Servings: 2–4 (depending on wing size and appetite)

✅ Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drums and flats)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or panko breadcrumbs (or mix of both for extra crunch)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • 2 eggs
  • Cooking spray (avocado oil or olive oil recommended)

🔪 Instructions:

1. Prep the Wings

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  • (Optional) Toss in a little salt and let them sit for 10–15 minutes, then pat dry again.

2. Set Up Dredging Station

  • Bowl 1: Beat the eggs.
  • Bowl 2: Combine flour (or panko), salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, and cayenne.

3. Bread the Wings

  • Dip each wing into the egg mixture, then coat it in the seasoned flour or breadcrumb mixture. Press the coating on well for extra crispiness.

4. Air Fry

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • Spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  • Arrange wings in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
  • Spray the tops of the wings lightly with oil to help browning.

5. Cook

  • Air fry for 24–28 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • For extra crispiness, increase the temp to 400°F for the last 3–5 minutes.
  • Internal temp should hit 165°F (74°C).

🧄 Optional: Add Sauces or Toss

After air frying, you can:

  • Toss them in Buffalo, BBQ, garlic parmesan, or sweet chili sauce.
  • Or keep them plain and serve with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese.

🍽️ Tips:

  • Double-coat (egg > flour > egg > flour) for thicker breading.
  • Panko = crispier than regular breadcrumbs.
  • Reheat leftovers at 350°F in the air fryer for 5–6 minutes to keep them crisp.
