Air fryer banana chips

Here’s a simple recipe for crispy, delicious Air Fryer Banana Chips — a perfect healthy snack with just bananas and a touch of oil!


🍌 Air Fryer Banana Chips

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe but firm bananas (not overly ripe or mushy)

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or olive oil (optional, for crispiness)

  • Pinch of salt (optional)

  • Optional: cinnamon or sugar for a sweet twist


Instructions:

  1. Prep the bananas:
    Peel the bananas and slice them very thinly (about 1/8 inch or less) using a sharp knife or mandoline.

  2. Oil and season:
    Toss the banana slices lightly with oil and a pinch of salt or your favorite seasoning.

  3. Arrange in air fryer:
    Lay banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap (you may need to do batches).

  4. Air fry:
    Cook at 320°F (160°C) for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Keep a close eye—they can burn quickly near the end.

  5. Cool:
    Remove and let banana chips cool completely to crisp up. They will get crunchier as they cool.


📝 Tips:

  • Slice as thin and uniform as possible for even cooking.

  • If you want sweeter chips, sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar before cooking.

  • Store cooled chips in an airtight container to keep crisp.
