Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

Here’s a simple and foolproof recipe for Air Fryer Baked Potatoes — fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and faster than using the oven!


🥔 Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium Russet potatoes

  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil

  • Coarse salt, to taste (Kosher or sea salt works best)

  • Optional toppings:

    • Butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chives, bacon bits, etc.


🔥 Instructions:

1. Prep the potatoes:

  • Scrub the potatoes clean and pat dry thoroughly.

  • Pierce each potato a few times with a fork to allow steam to escape.

  • Rub all over with oil and sprinkle generously with coarse salt.

2. Air fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes.

  • Place potatoes in the basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).

  • Cook for 35–45 minutes, depending on size, flipping halfway through.

    • Check for doneness by piercing with a knife or skewer — it should go in easily.

3. Serve:

  • Let cool slightly, then slice open and fluff the insides with a fork.

  • Add your favorite toppings and serve hot!


✅ Tips:

  • Size matters: Try to use potatoes of similar size for even cooking.

  • Shortcut tip: If you’re short on time, microwave the potatoes for 3–4 minutes first, then finish in the air fryer for 15–20 minutes for crispy skin.

  • Crispier skin: A light sprinkling of garlic or onion powder over the oiled skin adds extra flavor.
