Air Fryer Baked Potato

Here’s a super easy and crispy Air Fryer Baked Potato recipe — fluffy inside, golden skin outside, with minimal effort!


🥔 Air Fryer Baked Potato

📝 Ingredients:

  • 2–4 medium russet potatoes (scrubbed and dried)

  • 1–2 tsp olive oil

  • Salt (coarse/kosher preferred)

  • Optional: garlic powder or pepper for extra flavor


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Prep the Potatoes:

  • Scrub and dry the potatoes thoroughly.

  • Pierce each potato a few times with a fork to let steam escape.

  • Rub all over with olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt (and any seasonings you like).

2. Air Fry:

  • Place in the air fryer basket with space between each potato.

  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 35–45 minutes, depending on size.
    Flip halfway through for even cooking.

  • Check doneness by inserting a knife or skewer — it should slide in easily.

3. Serve:

  • Let rest a few minutes, then slice open, fluff with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.


🧂 Topping Ideas:

  • Butter, sour cream, chives

  • Cheese and bacon bits

  • Steamed broccoli & cheddar

  • Chili or taco meat for a meal-style baked potato


🔁 Tips:

  • For smaller potatoes, reduce time to 25–30 minutes.

  • For extra crispy skin, finish with a few extra minutes after the first check.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 5–8 minutes.
