Posted on June 5, 2025

Here’s a quick, flavorful, and healthy recipe for Air-Fried Garlic Mushrooms—crispy edges, tender centers, and loaded with garlicky goodness. Great as a snack, side dish, or party appetizer!

🍄 Air-Fried Garlic Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz (1 lb) whole mushrooms (white or cremini), cleaned and halved if large

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese or a squeeze of lemon juice

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions:

  1. Prep mushrooms:

    • Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel.

    • Trim stems and cut in half if they’re large.

  2. Season:

    • In a bowl, toss mushrooms with olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Make sure they’re well coated.

  3. Preheat air fryer:

    • Preheat to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  4. Air fry:

    • Add mushrooms to the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed).

    • Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until mushrooms are browned and slightly crispy on the edges.

  5. Finish & serve:

    • Optional: Toss with Parmesan or a squeeze of lemon juice right after cooking.

    • Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.

💡 Tips:

  • For extra crispiness, don’t overcrowd the basket—air circulation is key!

  • Add a pinch of chili flakes if you want some heat.

  • These pair great with steak, pasta, or as a topping for toast or grain bowls.
