Air-fried garlic mushrooms

Posted on April 24, 2025
Ohhh yes—air-fried garlic mushrooms are crispy, juicy little flavor bombs . Perfect as a side, snack, or party app. They’re garlicky, golden, and cooked to perfection with barely any oil thanks to that magical air fryer.

Air-Fried Garlic Mushrooms

 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb mushrooms (button or cremini work great), cleaned and halved if large

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: 1 tbsp soy sauce or balsamic vinegar (for an umami kick)

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley, parmesan, or chili flakes

 Instructions:

  1. Prep the mushrooms
Clean with a damp cloth—don’t soak them or they’ll get soggy. Trim stems if needed.

  2. Toss to season
In a bowl, mix mushrooms with olive oil, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, and any extras like soy sauce or balsamic.

  3. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).

  4. Air fry mushrooms
Add mushrooms to the basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and slightly crisp on the edges.

  5. Finish & serve
Toss with fresh parsley, a sprinkle of parmesan, or even a dash of lemon juice if you like a zesty finish.

 Pro Tips:

  • Love it extra garlicky? Stir in some garlic butter right after they’re done.

  • Want a breaded version? Dip in egg + seasoned panko, then air fry for crispy mushroom bites.

These are dangerously snackable. Want to turn them into a full meal (maybe in a wrap or grain bowl)? Or pair with a dip like ranch or herbed yogurt? I’ve got pairings if you’re feelin’ fancy!
