A simple recipe with zucchini Incredibly

Posted on February 1, 2025

If you’re looking for an incredibly simple zucchini recipe, here’s a quick and delicious option: Garlic Butter Sautéed Zucchini! It’s light, flavorful, and can be made in just a few minutes. Perfect as a side dish or even a light snack!

Garlic Butter Sautéed Zucchini Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchinis (washed and sliced into rounds or half-moons)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Zucchini: Slice the zucchini into rounds or half-moons, depending on your preference. You want them about 1/4-inch thick so they cook evenly.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).
  3. Cook the Zucchini: Add the zucchini slices to the skillet. Stir to coat them evenly with the garlic butter. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the zucchini is tender but still slightly crisp.
  4. Season: Season with salt, pepper, and dried oregano (if using). Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness. Serve immediately as a side dish, or enjoy it on its own!

This Garlic Butter Sautéed Zucchini is incredibly simple, yet packed with flavor. It’s the perfect way to showcase zucchini in a quick, healthy dish. You can also add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top for extra richness if you’d like! Enjoy!
