Ninja Foodi Queso Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey, if preferred)
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Rotel)
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin (optional, for a little extra flavor)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Sauté the ground beef:
    • Turn on the Ninja Foodi and set it to the Sauté mode.
    • Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it’s fully browned and no longer pink. This should take about 5–7 minutes.
    • Add the chopped onion to the beef and sauté for another 2–3 minutes until the onion becomes soft and translucent.
  2. Add the seasonings:
    • Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add the tomatoes:
    • Pour in the can of diced tomatoes with green chilies (don’t drain), and stir everything to combine.
    • Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Add the cream cheese and milk:
    • Reduce the heat by switching to the Slow Cook setting if available, or keep the Sauté on low.
    • Add the cream cheese and let it melt into the beef mixture, stirring occasionally until smooth.
    • Add the milk (or cream) and stir until everything is well combined and creamy.
  5. Add the cheese:
    • Slowly add the shredded cheddar (and/or Monterey Jack) cheese, stirring until it melts and the dip becomes smooth and creamy. You can adjust the milk to make the dip thinner or thicker, depending on your preference.
  6. Finish up:
    • Once the dip is creamy and the cheese has fully melted, taste it and adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper, if necessary.
    • If you like a bit of heat, you can add some diced jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce.
  7. Serve:
    • Once the queso dip is smooth and creamy, transfer it to a serving dish or leave it in the Ninja Foodi to keep warm.
    • Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions if desired.

Serve your Ninja Foodi Queso Dip with tortilla chips, veggies, or even soft tortillas for dipping!

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, you can also add a little cooked chorizo or sausage to the beef mixture.
  • If you want a spicier dip, throw in some chopped jalapeños or your favorite hot sauce!

Enjoy your creamy, cheesy queso dip made with the Ninja Foodi!
