Here’s a delicious recipe for Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings that are sure to be a hit! They’re crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and drenched in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients:

For the wings:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (whole or split)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced (or more for extra flavor!)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken Wings:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your air fryer if using.
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels (this helps them get extra crispy).
    • Place the wings in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure the wings are evenly coated.
  2. Bake the Wings:
    • Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a rack to allow air circulation around them.
    • Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden and crispy. You can also air fry them at 375°F (190°C) for about 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
    • While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
    • Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine.
    • Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until it melts into the sauce and becomes smooth.
    • Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using) to taste. Let the sauce simmer for another 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  4. Toss the Wings in the Sauce:
    • Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl.
    • Pour the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss gently to coat all the wings evenly.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • Garnish the wings with freshly chopped parsley and a little extra Parmesan, if desired.
    • Serve immediately, either on their own or with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve these creamy wings with a side of crispy fries, roasted vegetables, or a light salad to balance out the richness of the wings.
  • You can also pair them with some chilled beer or a glass of white wine for a fun gathering!
