Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball

Here’s a simple and Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball recipe that’s perfect for parties, gatherings, or just as a delicious treat to share!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple (drained well)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for coating)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional, for added flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Base:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter. Beat together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add Cheese & Flavor:
    • Add the shredded cheddar cheese, powdered sugar, drained crushed pineapple, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until everything is thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape the Cheeseball:
    • Once the mixture is well combined, use your hands to form it into a ball shape. If it’s a bit sticky, you can refrigerate it for 15 minutes to firm it up slightly before shaping.
  4. Coat the Cheeseball:
    • Spread the chopped pecans or walnuts on a large plate. Roll the cheeseball in the nuts, pressing gently to coat the entire ball.
  5. Chill and Serve:
    • Place the cheeseball in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up and allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Optional Garnish:
    • For an extra touch of color and flavor, you can garnish with a sprinkle of chopped green onions or additional nuts just before serving.
  7. Serve:
    • Serve the cheeseball with crackers, fresh fruit, or sliced veggies. It’s a perfect blend of sweet and savory!
