Perfect way to reinvent Thanksgiving leftovers! Here’s a tasty and crispy recipe for Leftover Turkey Stuffing Balls—great as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.


🦃🧆 Leftover Turkey Stuffing Balls

📝 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups leftover stuffing

  • 1 cup cooked turkey, finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (optional)

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)

  • Oil for frying (vegetable, canola, or olive oil)


🥣 Instructions:

1. Mix Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, combine stuffing, chopped turkey, cheese, onion (if using), garlic powder, salt, pepper, eggs, and milk.

  • Mix well until everything binds together. If too wet, add more breadcrumbs.


2. Form Balls:

  • Using your hands, shape the mixture into golf ball-sized balls.

  • Roll each ball in breadcrumbs for a crispy coating.


3. Cook:

Option 1: Pan-fry

  • Heat about 1/4 inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Fry the balls, turning occasionally, until golden brown and heated through (about 4-5 minutes per side).

  • Drain on paper towels.

Option 2: Bake

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Place balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Spray or brush with oil.

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy and heated through.


🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with cranberry sauce, gravy, or ranch dressing for dipping.

  • Pair with a fresh salad or roasted veggies.

  • Add chopped herbs like parsley or sage for extra flavor.

  • Mix in cooked vegetables like carrots or celery.

  • Make them spicy by adding a dash of hot sauce or cayenne.
