Here’s a no-bake dessert that’s nostalgic, creamy, and super easy to make: Classic Cherry Delight. It’s got a buttery graham cracker crust, a fluffy cream cheese filling, and a sweet-tart cherry topping — the perfect crowd-pleaser!


🍒 Classic Cherry Delight


📝 Ingredients (Makes a 9×9 or 9×13-inch pan)

For the Crust:
  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs

  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip) or 1 cup heavy cream, whipped

For the Topping:
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling


👩‍🍳 Instructions


1. Make the Crust

  1. In a bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until evenly combined.

  2. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×9 (for thicker layers) or 9×13-inch pan.

  3. Chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes while you prepare the filling.


2. Prepare the Filling

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, and mix until fully incorporated.

  3. Gently fold in whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream) until fluffy and smooth.


3. Assemble

  1. Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the chilled crust.

  2. Spoon cherry pie filling over the top and gently spread to cover.


4. Chill & Serve

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  • Slice into squares and serve chilled!


🍽️ Optional Additions:

  • Add a layer of crushed pineapple (well-drained) under the cherry topping for extra flavor.

  • Use blueberry or strawberry pie filling for variations.

  • Swap graham cracker crust for vanilla wafer or Oreo crust if desired.
