Here’s a straightforward, juicy, and flavorful Baked Chicken Thighs recipe — crispy on the outside, tender inside!


🍗 Baked Chicken Thighs


📝 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 6–8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: fresh lemon wedges and parsley for garnish


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Prep the chicken:
    Pat thighs dry with paper towels (this helps the skin get crispy).
    Rub olive oil all over the chicken.

  3. Season:
    Mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, thyme, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
    Rub seasoning mix evenly over all chicken thighs.

  4. Bake:
    Place chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet or ovenproof skillet (use parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup).
    Bake for 35–45 minutes until skin is crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  5. Rest and serve:
    Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley if desired.


🍽️ Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.

  • Drizzle pan juices over the chicken for extra flavor.
