Perfect Scrambled Eggs

Posted on September 22, 2025

Here’s how to make perfect scrambled eggs β€” soft, creamy, and flavorful every time.

πŸ₯š Perfect Scrambled Eggs (Creamy & Soft)

🧺 Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 tbsp whole milk or cream (optional, for creaminess)

  • Salt, to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp butter

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions

1. Crack and Whisk

  • Crack the eggs into a bowl.

  • Add milk or cream (optional), a pinch of salt, and pepper.

  • Whisk vigorously until fully combined and slightly frothy β€” this incorporates air for fluffier eggs.

2. Heat the Pan

  • Place a nonstick skillet over low to medium-low heat.

  • Add the butter and let it melt gently without browning.

3. Cook the Eggs

  • Pour the eggs into the pan.

  • Let them sit for a few seconds without stirring, until they just begin to set at the edges.

4. Stir Gently

  • Using a silicone spatula or wooden spoon, gently push the eggs from the edges toward the center, forming soft curds.

  • Continue slow, gentle stirring β€” remove the pan from heat occasionally to avoid overcooking.

5. Stop Early

  • When the eggs are mostly set but still a little glossy and slightly runny, remove them from the heat.

  • Residual heat will finish cooking them.

6. Finish & Serve

  • Taste and adjust salt/pepper.

  • Optional: add a small knob of cold butter at the end for extra richness.

  • Serve immediately on toast, with herbs, cheese, or smoked salmon.

🧠 Tips for Perfect Eggs

  • Low and slow is key β€” high heat = rubbery eggs.

  • Use fresh eggs for the best flavor and texture.

  • Don’t over-season early β€” salt draws out moisture if added too soon.
