Cream Cheese Cake

Here’s a simple, creamy, and luscious Cream Cheese Cake recipe — a rich, tangy dessert that’s lighter than traditional cheesecake but still incredibly satisfying!


🍰 Cream Cheese Cake

⏱️ Time: 15 minutes prep + 1 hour chilling (no baking!)


🧂 Ingredients:

Crust (optional):

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (or digestive biscuits)

  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tbsp sugar

Filling:

  • 16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Make the Crust (optional):

  • Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.

  • Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or cake pan.

  • Chill in fridge while preparing filling.

2. Prepare the Filling:

  • In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined and fluffy.

3. Assemble:

  • Pour the filling over the crust (if using) or directly into the cake pan.

  • Smooth the top with a spatula.

4. Chill:

  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set (longer if possible).

5. Serve:

  • Slice and enjoy as-is or top with fresh fruit, fruit compote, chocolate shavings, or caramel sauce.


🍽️ Tips & Variations:

  • For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of lemon juice or zest to the filling.

  • Swap heavy cream for whipped coconut cream for a dairy-free version.

  • Add crushed cookies or nuts to the crust for texture.

  • Serve with fresh berries or a berry sauce drizzle.
