Here’s a classic, no-bake treat that’s perfect for the holidays β€” Christmas Peanut Butter Balls! These bite-sized delights combine creamy peanut butter and chocolate with a festive twist. Easy to make and loved by all ages!

πŸŽ„ Christmas Peanut Butter Balls

🍽️ Makes about 30–40 balls

⏱️ Time: 20 minutes + chilling

πŸ§‚ Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal (or crispy rice cereal)

  • 12 oz (340g) semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips

  • Optional festive sprinkles (red, green, white) or crushed candy canes for topping

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions:

1. Mix the Base:

  • In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  • Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.

2. Form Balls:

  • Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, form mixture into 1-inch balls.

  • Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

3. Chill:

  • Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

4. Dip in Chocolate:

  • Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

  • Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.

  • Return to parchment paper.

5. Decorate & Set:

  • Before chocolate sets, sprinkle with festive sprinkles or crushed candy canes if desired.

  • Chill again until chocolate is firm (about 15–20 minutes).

🎁 Tips:

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  • For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.

  • Add a pinch of sea salt to the chocolate for a salty-sweet twist.
