Here’s a simple, protein-packed, and delicious recipe for Baked Cottage Cheese Eggs — perfect for breakfast, brunch, or meal prep. The cottage cheese adds creaminess and keeps the eggs light and fluffy, with an extra boost of protein.


🥚 Baked Cottage Cheese Eggs

🕒 Time:

  • Prep: 5 minutes

  • Cook: 20–25 minutes

  • Total: ~30 minutes

  • Serves: 2–4 (easily doubled or tripled)


🧾 Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (full fat or low fat)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 1/4 tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional for a kick)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss – optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions, spinach, or herbs (optional)

  • Cooking spray or butter, for greasing


🥣 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Lightly grease a small baking dish, muffin tin, or ramekins with oil or butter.

2. Mix Ingredients

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and cottage cheese until well combined.

  • Stir in salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings or add-ins (like herbs, greens, or cheese).

3. Bake

  • Pour the egg mixture into the prepared dish or divide into muffin cups.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly golden.

    • Muffin tins may take closer to 18–20 minutes.

  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Top with sliced avocado and hot sauce

  • Serve with toast or in a breakfast wrap

  • Add a side of fruit or sautéed greens

  • Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
