Butterfinger Balls

Posted on January 29, 2025

Butterfinger balls are such a fun treat! They’re easy to make and perfect for any occasion. Here’s a simple recipe for Butterfinger Balls:

Butterfinger Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 (10.5 oz) bag of Butterfinger candy bars (about 6 bars), crushed
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (optional, for smooth melting)

Instructions:

  1. Crush the Butterfingers:
    • Unwrap the Butterfinger bars and crush them into small pieces. You can place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin or use a food processor to get fine crumbs, leaving some chunks for texture.
  2. Mix the filling:
    • In a large bowl, combine the crushed Butterfingers, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and graham cracker crumbs. Stir everything together until well mixed. The mixture should be thick but easy to roll into balls.
  3. Shape the balls:
    • Scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll them into balls using your hands. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or tray.
  4. Chill:
    • Refrigerate the balls for about 30 minutes to help them firm up before coating.
  5. Melt the chocolate:
    • While the balls are chilling, melt the chocolate. Place the chocolate chips and vegetable oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted. You can also melt the chocolate on the stove using a double boiler.
  6. Dip the balls:
    • Once the balls are chilled, dip each one into the melted chocolate, using a fork to help coat them evenly. Place the chocolate-covered balls back on the parchment-lined tray.
  7. Chill again:
    • Refrigerate the dipped Butterfinger balls for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
  8. Serve:
    • Enjoy your Butterfinger balls as a delicious, no-bake treat! Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

These are super indulgent and perfect for candy lovers. They’re easy to make, and the combination of peanut butter, Butterfingers, and chocolate is always a winner!
