Fluffy Pancake Recipe!

Fluffy pancakes are the perfect way to start your morning! Here’s a simple fluffy pancake recipe that’s light, soft, and oh-so-delicious:

Fluffy Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Mix wet ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Combine wet and dry:
    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently stir to combine with a spatula or spoon. Be careful not to overmix—it’s okay if the batter is a little lumpy. Overmixing can make the pancakes tough, so keep it light!
  4. Cook the pancakes:
    • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
    • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until you see bubbles forming on the surface and the edges look set (about 2-3 minutes).
    • Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve the pancakes immediately with your favorite toppings—maple syrup, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or even a sprinkle of powdered sugar!

Optional Add-ins:

  • Blueberries, chocolate chips, or sliced bananas can be added to the batter before cooking for extra flavor and texture.
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg for a little spice!
