Ingredients:

1 large bag tortilla chips (about 10-12 oz)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1 cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken (seasoned with taco seasoning)

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1/4 cup chopped green onions
-
1/2 cup pickled jalapeños (or fresh, sliced)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup guacamole

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Salsa or pico de gallo (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat oven:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Layer chips & toppings:

On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread a layer of tortilla chips.

Sprinkle half the shredded cheeses evenly over the chips.

Add the seasoned ground beef (or chicken), black beans, tomatoes, olives, and jalapeños.

Top with remaining cheese.
