🍒🍨 Classic Cherry Delight

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping (thawed) or cool whip

  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling

  • 1 (14 oz) box graham cracker crumbs or crushed vanilla wafers

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

🔧 Instructions:

1. Make the crust:

  • Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.

  • Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan.

  • Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.

2. Prepare the cream layer:

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

  • Add powdered sugar and mix well.

  • Fold in half of the whipped topping gently.

3. Assemble the dessert:

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.

  • Spread the remaining whipped topping over the cream layer.

  • Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the top.

4. Chill:

  • Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight for best results.

5. Serve:

  • Slice and enjoy chilled.

💡 Tips:
