Balls made of leftover turkey and stuffing

Perfect idea — using leftovers creatively is the best! Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Turkey and Stuffing Balls — great as a snack, appetizer, or even a meal. They’re crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!


🦃 Leftover Turkey & Stuffing Balls

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Makes: About 12 balls


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups leftover stuffing

  • 1–1.5 cups cooked turkey, chopped or shredded

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4–1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella – optional but tasty)

  • 2–4 tbsp gravy or broth (only if mixture is too dry)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Optional for coating (for extra crisp):

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)

  • 1–2 tbsp melted butter or a light spray of oil


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or air fryer to 375°F.

  2. Mix:
    In a large bowl, combine stuffing, turkey, egg, and cheese. Mix until it holds together.

    • If it’s too dry, add a bit of gravy or broth.

    • If it’s too wet, add breadcrumbs or more stuffing.

  3. Form balls:
    Scoop and roll into golf ball-sized portions (~1.5 inches wide). Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

  4. Optional – coat with breadcrumbs:
    Roll balls in breadcrumbs for a crispy crust. Drizzle with a bit of melted butter or spray with oil.

  5. Bake:

    • Oven: 20–25 minutes, or until golden and heated through.

    • Air Fryer: 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway, until crispy.

  6. Serve:
    Serve warm with leftover gravy, cranberry sauce, or a dip like ranch or honey mustard.


📝 Tips:

  • Add minced onion, herbs, or chopped celery if your stuffing is plain.

  • Great for freezing before baking — just thaw and cook later!
