Here’s a super simple and surprisingly tasty Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient Banana Bread recipe β€” perfect for when you’re short on time or ingredients!


🍌 Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient Banana Bread

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 2–3 hours on high (or 4–5 hours on low)
Servings: 8 slices


Ingredients:

  • 3–4 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1.5 cups)

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)

  • 2 large eggs


Optional add-ins (not counted in the 3 ingredients, but great to include):

  • 1 tsp cinnamon or vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

  • Pinch of salt for better flavor


Instructions:

  1. Mix:
    In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, cake mix, and eggs. Stir until fully mixed. (Batter will be thick.)

  2. Prepare slow cooker:
    Line the bottom with parchment paper or lightly grease it well with butter or cooking spray.

  3. Pour & smooth:
    Pour the batter into the slow cooker and spread evenly.

  4. Cook:

    • High: 2–3 hours

    • Low: 4–5 hours
      Or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  5. Cool & serve:
    Let it cool slightly. Use the parchment paper to lift the bread out. Slice and enjoy!

  • For best results, avoid opening the lid in the first 1.5 hours of cooking.

  • This bread is moist and slightly denser than oven-baked banana bread.

  • Add a little honey or butter when serving for a treat!
