Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Here’s a super easy and family-friendly Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna recipe β€” it uses frozen ravioli and layers like lasagna, but with way less effort!


🍝 Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 4 hours on low or 2–2.5 hours on high
Servings: 6–8


Ingredients:

  • 1 (25 oz) bag frozen ravioli (cheese or meat-filled β€” don’t thaw)

  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage

  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

  • Cooking spray or a bit of olive oil for greasing


Instructions:

  1. Brown the meat:
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in the pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder (if using).

  2. Prep the crockpot:
    Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker.

  3. Layer it up:

    • Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.

    • Add a layer of frozen ravioli (single layer).

    • Add a layer of sauce.

    • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan.

    • Repeat layers (ravioli β†’ sauce β†’ cheese) until everything is used, ending with sauce and cheese on top.

  4. Cook:

    • Low: 4 hours

    • High: 2 to 2.5 hours
      Until ravioli is tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. Garnish and serve:
    Sprinkle with chopped basil or parsley if desired. Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.

  • Vegetarian? Skip the meat or use plant-based crumbles.

  • Add veggies: Layer in chopped spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini.

  • Want it cheesy? Add ricotta or cottage cheese in layers.
