For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium if preferred)

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

  • 1 tbsp water + 1 tsp cornstarch (to thicken)

1. Prep the Pork Chops:

  • Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  • Set up three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and panko in the third.

  • Dredge each pork chop in flour, then egg, then coat thoroughly in panko breadcrumbs.

2. Pan-Fry the Chops:

  • Heat 1/4 inch of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar.

  • Bring to a gentle boil, then stir in cornstarch-water slurry.

  • Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens slightly and becomes glossy.

4. Combine & Serve:

  • Pour the hot honey garlic sauce over the crispy pork chops right before serving.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
