Here’s a bright, sweet-and-savory Strawberry Pineapple Salsa — perfect for summer snacking, grilled meats, tacos, or simply scooping with cinnamon chips or tortilla chips. It’s fresh, colorful, and bursting with juicy flavor!


🍓🍍 Refreshing Strawberry Pineapple Salsa

🕒 Total Time: 10–15 minutes

Yields: About 3 cups
Serve chilled or at room temp


🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced (or canned, well-drained)

  • ½ red bell pepper, diced

  • ¼ small red onion, finely chopped

  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (adjust to heat level)

  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: ½ avocado, diced (added just before serving)


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Dice & chop:
    Finely dice all fruits and veggies to a similar size for consistent texture and easier scooping.

  2. Mix:
    In a medium bowl, gently toss together the strawberries, pineapple, bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.

  3. Add lime & season:
    Squeeze in lime juice and add a pinch of salt. Toss gently to combine.

  4. Chill (optional):
    Let sit in the fridge for 15–30 minutes for flavors to meld, or serve immediately.


🌮 How to Use:

  • As a dip with tortilla or cinnamon chips

  • Spooned over grilled chicken, pork, or fish (especially salmon or mahi mahi)

  • On shrimp or fish tacos

  • With avocado toast or over cottage cheese


💡 Tips:

  • Make-ahead: Best within 1 day — strawberries release juice over time. Drain lightly if needed.

  • Spice it up: Add a few dashes of hot sauce or use serrano instead of jalapeño.

  • No pineapple? Swap for mango, peach, or kiwi for fun variations.
