White Garlic Pizza Sauce

Here’s a rich and creamy White Garlic Pizza Sauce — perfect for white pizzas, flatbreads, or as a dipping sauce for breadsticks. It’s cheesy, garlicky, and comes together in just 10 minutes!


🧄 White Garlic Pizza Sauce

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (or more if you like it garlicky!)

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup whole milk (or half & half for richer flavor)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: pinch of Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes

  • Optional: ¼ cup shredded mozzarella or provolone (for extra cheesiness)


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Melt butter and sauté garlic:
    In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
    Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, just until fragrant — don’t brown it.

  2. Make a roux:
    Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly, to remove the raw flour taste.

  3. Add milk:
    Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until thickened — about 2–3 minutes.

  4. Add cheese & seasonings:
    Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
    Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs or red pepper flakes.
    Add mozzarella/provolone if you want it thicker and gooier.

  5. Cool slightly before using:
    Let it cool for a few minutes — it will thicken a bit more. Then spread it onto your pizza crust or use as a dipping sauce.
