Here’s a classic comfort dish that’s golden, crunchy, and full of flavor:

πŸ₯© Crispy Beef Cutlets

These breaded beef cutlets are pan-fried to crispy perfection β€” juicy inside, crunchy outside. They’re great on their own, with mashed potatoes, inside sandwiches, or over rice with gravy or sauce.

πŸ§‚ Crispy Beef Cutlets Recipe

πŸ•’ Total Time: 40–45 minutes

🍽 Servings: 4

πŸ₯© Ingredients:

  • 1 to 1.5 lbs thin beef steaks (round, sirloin, cube steak, or top blade)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional for color/flavor)

For the Breading:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional but delicious)

For Frying:

  • Oil for pan frying (vegetable, canola, or light olive oil)

2. Set Up Breading Station

  • 1st bowl: Flour

  • 2nd bowl: Beaten eggs

  • 3rd bowl: Breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan (if using)

3. Bread the Cutlets

  • Dredge each piece of beef in flour β†’ dip in egg β†’ coat in breadcrumbs.

  • Press gently to help coating stick well.

4. Fry the Cutlets

  • Heat about 1/4″ oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Fry beef cutlets 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

  • Transfer to a wire rack or paper towels to drain.

🍽 Serving Suggestions:

  • With mashed potatoes & gravy

  • Topped with marinara & melted mozzarella for a beef parmesan twist

  • In a sandwich or wrap with lettuce, tomato, and mayo

  • Over rice or noodles with sweet chili or tonkatsu sauce

πŸ”„ Variations:

  • Spicy: Add cayenne to the flour or hot sauce to the egg wash.

  • Air fryer: Spray lightly with oil and cook at 375Β°F for ~10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.

  • Gluten-free: Use GF flour and breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes.
