Here’s a rich, comforting, and restaurant-worthy dish: Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine in Alfredo Sauce. It’s the perfect blend of juicy pan-seared chicken, a silky homemade Alfredo, and tender linguine—all smothered in garlic butter goodness.

Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (or 4 thin-cut)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Optional: pinch of nutmeg (classic in Alfredo)

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz linguine (or fettuccine), cooked and drained

  • 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (optional, for loosening sauce)

  • Fresh parsley and extra Parmesan, for garnish


Instructions:

1. Cook the Chicken:

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

  • Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add chicken and sear 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temp).

  • In the last minute of cooking, add minced garlic and spoon garlic butter over the chicken.

  • Remove and rest; slice into strips.

2. Make the Alfredo Sauce:

  • In the same skillet (don’t wipe it!), lower heat to medium.

  • Add 3 tbsp butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Pour in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer (don’t boil), then whisk in Parmesan.

  • Stir until smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.

3. Combine with Pasta:

  • Add cooked linguine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat. If sauce is too thick, stir in a splash of pasta water.

  • Add sliced chicken on top or stir it in.

4. Serve:

  • Plate the pasta and top with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley.

  • Serve with garlic bread or a crisp green salad.


🧄 Optional Additions:

  • Spinach or mushrooms: Sauté and mix into the sauce.

  • Crushed red pepper flakes: For a little heat.

  • Lemon zest or a squeeze of lemon juice: Adds brightness and balances richness.
